AIT has over fifty stations, and many departments within each of those stations, so there are many different people you may need to work with at AIT on your various shipments. We have worked to make it as easy as possible to handle this communication, however.
The primary method of communication is via status updates in MyAIT. All normal status updates (recovered, out for delivery, POD, etc) are visible to anyone looking at the order in our system, eliminating the need for AIT to make any additional phone calls or emails for this information. Entering an exception (OS&D, no show, bad contact info, problem, etc) also automatically sends out an alert to the appropriate owning station or department without you needing to make a phone call or send an email.
If you do need to contact the owning station directly, then there are multiple ways you can find this contact information.
If you know the station or department you need to talk to but do not know their contact information, you can click the below link to view our AIT Contact Information page. This page lists every AIT station, their airport code, their main phone number, and their primary group email address. This AIT Contact Information page is also viewable directly from the University in MyAIT.
For pickups and deliveries on our standard paperwork, the AIT owning station and phone number are listed in the top right of the bill of lading or delivery receipt:
For pickups and deliveries on home delivery accounts, there is not a station listed on the paperwork as the majority of the time you will need to talk to our corporate Home Delivery team. The phone number for our Home Delivery team is in the upper left corner:
The AIT owning station and phone number are also visible when displaying the details on any order in MyAIT.
On a delivery or drop, the AIT owning station and phone number are in the top right:
On a pickup, the AIT owning station and phone number are listed across the middle:
